dbWin

   dbWin is one of the programs that allow an easy approach to the development platform "dataApp". It is similar to dbWinSQL and dbWinSQLpro, except by the fact of this doesn't connect to a database, but work on local tables (files on disk). Because of this difference, require a prior configuration equivalent to the corresponding entry to the tables of a database columns. Once this step has been done (you can use AppDesigner for this), the program starts reading the created structure and by a fully autonomous mechnism, it presents to you a Front-End with different options:

  - Maintenance of simple tables (master tables only).

  - Report generation and reporting.

  - Transactions, including various types of Export, Import and Updates.

      In this class, the program provides a direct and easy way to keep database without developer intervention or technical. They are utilities whose profitability is guaranteed to meet many needs of small businesses.

     At the next level, the program can be transformed and adapted to specific needs from a developer, or a computer user with basic knowledge of data-driven programming.

     At this point you can get maintenance screens designed as master tables. In reports, you can also go well beyond the lists generated automatically and can draw all types of documents with few limitations. The same applies to transactions and it allows to design specific processes easily.

     The best approach at this level is the AppDesigner program, were the documentation explains step by step how to create menus, maintenance screens and reports, and how to fully exploit the transactions.
